Log Entry: Friday, May 7th, 1999Chatterbox Falls to Harmony Islands: 36.5 nm
The next morning we left at around 8, again to catch Malibu rapids at the correct point. No worries. We sailed for Harmony Islands, mostly gray, cold, and wet. Sunshine was poking through by the time we arrived. The anchorage we had read about turned out to be TINY!! There was a small motorboat near the anchorage; as we drew near to attempt to anchor there, someone came out and called "Captain!" When I responded, he warned us about a very shallow spot in mid anchorage, so we backed out. We opted for the channel, went up and down the channel a couple of times before we committed ourselves, finally anchoring in 50 feet, on solid rock. We heard the chain dragging around the rocks all night.
