| On our second day in Prince Rupert, we
met Bob Warshawer, who regaled us with stories and opinions about everything from
washboards and batteries to data communication standards, socialism, diesel engines, and
St Patrick's Day. We enjoyed an evening with him at the Cow Bay Cafe, our favourite
eating spot in The Bay ... Bob's boat, the Vanessa Renee,
is named after his daughter; the boat is currently docked in Prince Rupert.
