Log Entry: Sunday May 23rd, 1999Brundige Inlet Rain and wind. We listened to the weather, and decided that things outside were still tumultuous, and not worth fighting. I set a backup snub line, in the event the first one failed. I ensured that the chain stopper was in place, and that the windlass was locked. The wind howled all day. We watched the fishing boat, where there was a beehive of activity during the morning. Some got out in their yellow slickers, and motored away in an inflatable. Others came out in diving gear, and eventually motored away in a small motorboat. They all came back around 5. Very mysterious ... We surmised that there were more boats in the larger anchorage at the head of Brundige Inlet. More weather reports. It seemed that the following day would be OK. We determined to leave if possible.
