Jane's log:

"Motored in easy seas up to the hot springs.

"Spotted a humpback coming around to the bay. He appeared to be circling and feeding. The white on the flippers was very apparent, and we weren't sure if we say white on the tail also ...

"Wonderful bird life coming up the coast: Murres, Cormorants.

"The engine died again when we tried the port fuel tank again. We pumped fuel from that tank manually, and everything seems OK now ...

"A very hot dip in the hot springs!!"

I have never been in water as hot as we experienced here. It was not easy getting in, took me over ten minutes to ease myself down, but then, of course, it was wonderful!

We anchored in a passage again (Dorothy Narrows) (first time was in El Capitan ...), but the traffic was very light. We tried fishing, but only half-heartedly, off the stern, without success.
