Red Bluff Bay
 |
This was a very relaxed day. The diving thing was
finally successful, and the bottom got attended to. We went for a walk on the
meadow, and at one point, in the drizzle, watched a brown bear munching his/her way
through several pounds of grass. Our prawn trap was set quite a distance away, but
it was worth the long dinghy ride: lots of fat prawns!! We had a dinghy visit from
Jambo III and another boat ... |
Jane's log:
"Great day! Successful dive with Ian cleaning the log and depth
gauges, and a propeller inspection. Successful prawn haul: 36. Successful bear watch after
we rowed the dinghy up the low tide river: spotted tree swallows, eagles, and ravens, as
well as watching a large brown bear for half an hour."
