We liked this place.  Sunshine abounded; Jane went for a row; someone in a motorboat parked at the opening with fenders, surrounded by rocks ...

Jane's log:

"Changed the genset oil and filter while hot.

"Cleaned the genset air filter.

"Topped up the batteries.

"Engine didn’t start when we left; tried turning the starter flywheel, no luck; turned on the generator to charge the batteries, no luck; turned the starter flywheel again and it started. We need to review the starter. Got a nice 17 knots of SW wind when we came out of Shrimp Bay. Got ready to sail and the wind swung 180 degrees to NW 5 knots!! We’re ready if the wind picks up!

"Saw a female black bear with cub on shore in the Behm Narrows.

"Ran with the jib the second half of Behm Narrows; although the wind was light (under 10 knots), it was nice to drift along for a while.

"Dropped the hook just off the point at the head of Fitzgibbon: great anchorage.

"Lots of bird life, including herons, in the cove, and we saw a large family of seals fishing as we came around Hose Point.

"Great row around the cove."
