Log Entry: Sunday, July 18th, 1999 Fitzgibbon Cove to Punchbowl Cove: 32.8 nm
This is a stunning bay, with sheer sides towering above us, waterfalls falling hundreds of feet. Jane went for a row. There's a sailboat on the (only) mooring but nobody aboard (there's a dinghy up on shore). Shortly after we anchored, a powerboat came in and attached themselves to the mooring! They offloaded a trio of kayaks, and it appeared that it was a charter taking people to remote coves and kayaking around with them (similar to our Thailand excursion?) Later the sailboat people came back from their shore walk, there was some discussion, and later still the powerboat anchored away from the mooring. We had bright hot sunshine all day: we put up the awning over the cockpit. Jane's log:
