The rain has stopped, but it's still overcast. We headed for Klemtu to fill up
with diesel, water, gas, propane and some quick phone calls.
"The rainless day didn't last for long, and the bow watch through Thistle Passage
was painful with the rain blowing horizontally into my face.
"We came through Meyers Passage just after Sandpiper II, and headed down to
Klemtu. Fueled up and got water, had lunch and made some phone calls. Rolene
wasn't in the cafe, so there was no 'Rolene's Berry Burger' for Ian!
"Good news from home: the boat is registered, we just need to confirm the carvings
and markings; and Dominic sounds hopeful about work in Dublin.
"Passed Jane Island, Jane Patch, and came through Jane Passage.
"After anchoring in Inner Goat Cove, I dinghied over for a look around the creek.
It's probably possible to scramble to the lake with boots and slickers on but as I
was on my own I settled for a little walk up and then back along the shore; I picked up
some grass and driftwood for Ching."
