Jane's log:

"We decided not to investigate South Benedict Arm as planned: the glaciers would all be clouded in.  Instead we headed down Burke Channel.

"Incredible rock formations and waterfalls, probably more impressive with the clouds scattered between the peaks.

"The current was with us all the way: saw 9.8 SOG (speed over ground) for a while.

"Some Dall porpoises came around Haaksvold Point with us.

"Came into Inner Fougner Bay and anchored with a log boom for company.

"SE gales in the forecast.  Sounds like it's a good idea to hang around Queen Sound before going around Cape Caution ..."
