Jane's log:

"Left Pruth Bay after making a few phone calls onshore.  It was raining as we left for Fitz Hugh Channel, but it cleared up a bit as we went.

"The ebbing tide made the swell a little choppy, so we headed into Fury Cove instead of continuing to Milbanke in Smith Sound.  It just means an extra 9 nm on the route around Cape Caution tomorrow.

"Spotted a blow hole as we headed for Schooner Retreat.

"Fury Cove is a busy anchorage: 5 boats at 15:45 ... 7 boats by nightfall.

"We went ashore to walk the beach, and saw a great sunset over Fitz Hugh Channel."
